During our Kitesafari on the DEFINITELY BEST BOATS sailing the Red Sea, we will be visiting islands where the probability of wind is significantly higher than on the mainland. The water in the sea is warm and typically calm, with winds ranging from 15-30 knots offshore, making it an excellent destination for kitesurfing enthusiasts.

We’ve been to many legendary and iconic kitesurfing spots around the world, such as Brazil, Cuba, Mauritius, but the Kitesafari in the Red Sea is something extraordinary, on an exceptional boat, in unique locations.

Kitesafari is all about fun and unforgettable experiences. Anchored near deserted islands, the boat provides practically endless opportunities for riding on flat, shallow waters throughout the day. After an active day, in the evening on board, you can enjoy drinks under the beautifully starlit sky, sharing your experiences with fellow participants. There’s no better place for bonding, relaxation, and making new friends than a boat anchored far from civilization.

KITESAFARI PLAN:

SATURDAY

Check-in on the boat on Saturday. For most, the arrival in Egypt at Hurghada Airport is on Sunday, with a transfer to the Marina (about 30 minutes). he boat will be available from 4:00 PM. We set sail on the same day to our first spot. The option for early arrival and choosing a package trip (hotel + Kitesafari) is available. Please inquire at the office for more information.

SUNDAY – FRIDAY

We sail in search of the best wind conditions between uninhabited islands and spots in the northern part of the Red Sea. Our years of experience and knowledge ensure that each of our journeys is filled with windy days and fantastic experiences.

We often encounter dolphins on the route, and during breaks from kitesurfing, we can snorkel with them. For those interested, there is also the opportunity for diving, including intro diving (for uncertified individuals, approximately 20 minutes underwater with a certified diver) and regular dives with an instructor familiar with the area (for certified divers). However, the most important part will undoubtedly be our kitesurfing sessions at the spots we choose and, if possible, downwinders between the islands.

After active days, in the evenings on board, you can enjoy drinks under the beautifully starlit sky and share your own impressions of the day with the other participants.

On Friday evening, we return to the Marina in Hurghada.

For those arriving/departing on a day other than Saturday, there is the possibility of arranging additional accommodations at hotels in Hurghada, Soma Bay, or El Gouna, as well as additional transfers (additional fees apply).

Pro Camp – Learning Tricks in Kitesurfing

From June 8th to June 15th, 2024, the Pro Camp is available for only 200 EUR.

Pro Camp is an intensive and advanced kitesurfing course program designed for individuals at various levels of kitesurfing proficiency who want to take their skills to an entirely new level. The program focuses on teaching and perfecting a variety of tricks and water acrobatics, allowing participants to elevate their kitesurfing expertise and showcase their abilities at kitesurfing spots worldwide.

Requirements to participate in Pro Camp: Participants must be able to surf comfortably both left and right with turns and effortlessly perform body drags if they lose the board in the water. They should also be able to control the kite in various conditions. Participants should have experience in independently using different types of kitesurfing equipment.

Course Objectives:

• Depending on participants’ skill levels, the course aims to teach basic or advanced techniques and tricks in kitesurfing.
• Mastery of aerial acrobatics, rotations, and jumps.
• For advanced riders, learning water tricks such as “handle passes,” “board-offs,” and many others.
• Improvement of kite control in challenging wind conditions.
• Understanding safety aspects related to extreme tricks.

Course Program:

• Skills Analysis: Participants will be initially grouped based on their skill levels. Instructors will carefully assess each person’s abilities to tailor the program to individual needs.
• Aerial Acrobatics: Focus on learning tricks based on skill level: jumps, rotations, “handle passes,” as well as “kiteloops” and other spectacular tricks.
• Advanced Techniques for Experienced Riders: Focus on specialized techniques such as “unhooked riding,” “toe-side riding,” and other advanced maneuvers.
• Kite Control Refinement: Course in more challenging wind conditions, such as strong winds, to help participants feel more confident and comfortable in any conditions.
• Safety: Emphasis on the importance of safety during the execution of advanced tricks. Discussion of emergency procedures and guidelines for risky situations.
• Video Analysis: The instructor records each Pro Camp participant and discusses progress and mistakes made during tricks in the evening, significantly improving the speed of learning new maneuvers and correcting errors.

Instructors: Experienced kitesurfing instructors with advanced skills and knowledge participate in the course to help participants achieve their kitesurfing goals.

Duration: Pro Camp typically lasts from 5-6 days, depending on the program’s intensity, the number of participants, and weather conditions.

During Kitesafari, it specifically spans 5-6 days, with 2.5-3 hours of course each day.

Note: Safety is a priority during course, and participants will be guided by instructors familiar with local spots, capable of adapting activities to weather conditions.
